In the following we would like to give you an overview of the most important milestones of our development. As a brand of Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, we have always been able to benefit from HWH's decades of experience in dealing with titanium products and incorporate this into the development process.

2011

Conventional method

Development of a conventional forging process for titanium aluminides.
2012

Establish Research & Development

Establishment of a research and development team working on a melting facility for titanium aluminides. The primary objective is to develop a cost-effective melting process to meet future demand.
2015

Constr. and operation of a pilot plant

In the years following the establishment of a separate department for R&D, the design, construction and commissioning of a pilot plant for the smelting of titanium aluminides followed until 2015. Initially, the first operation is carried out in small series.
2018

Successful participation in LuFo

This year sees successful participation in the Luftforschungsprogramm (LuFo) of the German Federal Ministry of Economics. At the same time, the decision is made to set up a dedicated production unit for melting high-temperature alloys at the site in Bremen, Germany. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new production facility takes place during the fourth quarter of 2019.
2020

Topping out ceremony

After 12 months of construction, we were able to celebrate the topping-out ceremony in the new production hall in September 2020.
2021

Commissioning of the melting plant

In the months following the topping-out ceremony, the state-of-the-art, technologically sophisticated and unique machinery will be installed inside the hall. In the fourth quarter of 2021, the plant can finally be commissioned, initially for fine-tuning and testing, and later for the regular process.
2022+
